Recognition long-distance and city ticket

Since December 9, 2018, the Niedersachsenticket has been introduced on all lines of Bentheimer Eisenbahn AG and Richters Reisen GmbH. The ticket is valid Monday through Friday from 09:00 a.m. (scheduled departure is decisive), on Saturday, Sundays and holidays as well as on December 24 and December 31 from the start of operations. On the registered day of validity, the Niedersachsenticket can be used for any number of journeys on all local train in Lower Saxony and on all buses oft he participating transport associations.

The ticket is valid for up to five people and is non-transferable. Up to three childern between the ages of 6 and 14 are carried free of charge, regardless of the number of paying passengers. Dogs count as one person on the trains. Within VGB dogs continue to be transported free of charge.

Tickets of the Niedersachsentarif that have a tariff zone of our service are have been recognized on all lines since December 9, 2018. In addition, long-distance tickets with the addition „City“ for the destinations Bad Bentheim and Schüttorf for onward travel have been recognized in these zones since December 9, 2018.

Children under 6 years of age generally travel free of charge. In the Niedersachsentarif up to four of your own children or grandchildren between the ages of 6 and 14 travel free of charge when accompanied by a parent / grandparent, partner or guardian. With the Niedersachsenticket up to three children between the ages of 6 and 14 travel free of charge, regardless of the number of persons for whom the Niedersachsenticket is issued.
